Trello Templates for Homemakers
Trello is an amazing, free app that I use to organize my entire life. I use it as my digital planner.
Everything from blog planning, to garden planning, and household chores, all live in Trello.
Each of these are called boards, which you can then group into Workspaces. So you could have a workspace called Home, which could contain your gardening, meal planning, and pantry inventory boards.
You could have another workspace called Work, which could contain any work-related boards.
Trello uses the Kanban method, which is a popular productivity method that is similar to using old-school cue cards and pinning them to a bulletin board. You can create different lists for each board, and easily drag-and-drop your cards into different lists.
You can open up a card, and inside each card is all the details about that task. You can write a description, add an image, attachments, and even multiple checklists.
It truly is amazing, and my ADHD brain wouldn’t be able to cope without using this tool. I’m truly amazed that it’s free!
You can use it online through a browser, or you can download the app for your laptop, tablet, or mobile phone. I use all 3! My MacBook is the perfect place to create and organize my boards, and my iPad and iPhone are what I use on-the-go for checking things off, or seeing what I need in the pantry before our monthly grocery shopping trip.
Trello doesn’t even have an affiliate program, so I don’t get anything for recommending it – I just love to shout from the rooftops how awesome it is. 🙂 It’s especially good if you are a visual person – the pretty board covers and card covers, colored labels, and easily visible due dates make it a joy to use.
I’ve been a huge advocate of Trello for a long time, and I aways have people asking me about how I use it to organize my life and home. So I decided to create templates you can purchase, which are fully editable and customizable. Once you copy them into your own Trello account, you can use them however you wish!
You can, of course, create your own Trello boards from scratch, but it’s nice to have a template to use and then just customize for your own needs.
